The PTR 9CT SBR CS – 9×19mm is a factory-configured short-barreled rifle designed to provide a balanced MP5-pattern platform with adjustable handling and modern accessory support. Sold as an SBR at the point of sale, this model features a 9” barrel and a PTR CS1 collapsible stock, offering a compact footprint with adjustable length of pull.

At the core of the 9CT SBR CS is PTR’s legacy roller-delayed blowback operating system, known for smooth recoil characteristics and consistent cycling. The semi-automatic action is host-ready for use with NFA-registered auto sear packs where legally applicable. A nitride heat-treated, tungsten dead-blow weighted full-auto profile bolt carrier enhances durability and promotes uniform operation under sustained use.

The 9” nitride heat-treated barrel features a 1:10” right-hand twist and includes both a 3-lug interface and 1/2×28 threading, supporting suppressor compatibility and common mounting standards. An extended 4.5” steel Picatinny rail allows flexible optic placement, accommodating a wide range of sighting solutions without limiting eye relief or mounting options.

The rifle is equipped with a mil-spec anodized aluminum M-LOK® handguard for modular accessory attachment and finished in black powder coating over Parkerizing for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. With an unloaded weight of approximately 6.4 lbs and an overall length of 26” with the stock extended (20” collapsed), the 9CT SBR CS is optimized for compact handling without sacrificing control.
