The price for our Basics of Pistol Shooting Class is $150. You will receive:
- NRA Guide – Basics of Pistol Shooting
- Classroom Instruction
- Live Fire Range Instruction
- Targets
- Upon successful completion, Certificate reflecting Qual Level
What you need to know for the class
Safety First
This course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. This class takes place in a traditional classroom and live range environment.
What to Bring
Students should come prepared to learn and take notes (notebook, pens/pencils) and wear range appropriate attire (closed-toe shoes/boots, pants, closed-neck shirt). In addition, students should bring
- Refreshments (water/snacks) as there won’t be any breaks to go get items
- Pistol in the caliber of your choice along with 100-200 rounds appropriate for your pistol
- If you don’t have one, you can use one of ours but you must purchase ammo from the shop
- Pistol cleaning kit appropriate for your firearm
- If you don’t have one, supplies can be provided
- Eye and ear protection, if you have it (items can be provided for the live fire portion of the class
